Comment
When sereval experimental planes are lost at sea, a new weapon is suspected, and an unconventional secret service agent (Ralph Richardson) is brought in to investigate whilst a female reporter (Valerie Hobson) is also on the case. The next pilot due to fly an experimental plane is Ralph Richardson. This is a slightly quirky British pre-war action film. The best scenes in the film are when Laurence Olivier, Ralph Richardson and Valerie Hobson are on scene together and playing off each other. The similarity between Ralph Richardson's character and the later Steed in the Avengers is clear. Whilst not a clasic performance from any of the players it is entertaining enough for the time.
