Will Smith is a struggling salesman who takes responsibility for his young child (his real life son Jaden Smith) when his wife (Thandie Newton) leaves him. He gets a job as an unpaid intern in a firm of stock brokers, but his life deteriorates as he ends up living on the streets. Will Smith gives a good dramatic performance in this film based on a true story.
