Gene Autry plays himself as the singing cowboy who discovers a deep underground city and battles the people trying to stop him to obtaining the radium present in the city and a group of rebels trying to overthrow the queen (Dorothy Christy) of the city. This is a 12 part serial that is largely a vehicle for Gene Autry and a chance to sing a couple of songs in each episode. The acting is not great, though Dorothy Christie is suitably imperious as the Queen.
