A maid (Ruth Donnelly) takes a job with the family (Margaret Lindsay) of an insurance salesman (Warren Hull) and helps them climb the social ladder. The son takes an interest in a young lady (Anita Louise), but this is complicated by the maid's secret. This is a light comedy drama with the plot twist being obvious early on in the film. Ruth Donnelly gives a solid performance as the maid and Anita Louise works her way through a selection of dresses.
