A deputy bank manager (Stanley Baker) comes up with a plan to rob the bank and persuades a husband (David Warner) and wife (Ursulsa Andress) to join him. There is a long build up to the robbery as the film sets up the characters triangular relationship that develops between them. Peter Hall's direction is a little strange in places, but there is a good performance from Ursula Andress as the woman playing both men.
