When giant intergalactic sea creatures start destroying the earth, human fight back by creating giant robots manned by two people with neural link. The only hope for the world to be save is a washed up pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untried female rookie (Rinko Kikuchi). This will appeal to those who like giant monster films, otherwise the plot is silly and it is hard to take seriously 200 foot high monster and robots having hand to hand combat.
