The daughter of an out of work musician put together an orchestra when she is a made a promise by a wealthy woman but things then get complicated when shen she leaves for Europe and her husband needs convincing to agree to his wife's promise. The plot is thin and quite silly but at least Deanna Durbin could actually sing as well as act. It is unusal for a musical of the time being centered around classical music.
