The town of Northpole runs on Christmas happiness, but as this declines it puts Christmas in danger. A young elf (Bailee Madison) teams up with a young boy (Max Charles) to bring Christmas cheer to the town where he lives by stopping the tree lighting ceremony from being cancelled. His reporter mother (Tiffani Thiessen) is sceptical, but is encouraged by his charming teacher (Josh Hopkins). The plot is a typical made for television Christmas romantic comedy. Tiffani Thiessen is typically engaging as the main character, but it is the bubbly charm of Bailee Madison that steals all the scenes she is in.
