A man (Edward G Robinson) with a mind reading act find he can actually predict some future events, but when he predicts a rich woman's (Gail Russell) death her fiancé (John Lund) gets suspicious. The story starts by being told in flashbacks as to how he discovered his talent and then joins the present. There is a good performance from Edward G Robinson as man coming to terms with a gift that is a curse. There is good support from Gail Russell as the woman who has had her death predicted.
