During a book festival a publisher is murdered and the father (Robin Thomas) of the university lecturer (Jill Wagner) on writing murder mystery books is arrested as the prime suspect, so she sets out to prove his innocence and find the real killer. This is the third of the Mystery 101 films with Jill Wagner as the sleuthing academic. This is a typical made for television murder mystery with the usual range of suspects. Pleasant but no classic.
