In the future the moon is being mined for helium3 to provide power for the earth. The lone human manning an automated mining operation on the dark side of the moon is just two weeks away from the end of his three year posting. His only companion is a robot and when he is involveed in an accident in a lunar rover strange things start to happen. Has he been cloned or are the effects of three years of isolation finally catching up with him? This is a very good piece of psychological Sci-Fi. This is not a sci-fi film for those who want action, CGI effects, but it does explore more of the human psyche. Sam Rockwell gives a good performance of a man trying to come to terms with what he thinks is his life being undermined and Kevin Spacey voices the robot that has echoes of HAL from 2001.
