A woman (Marie Provost) in a loveless marriage tries to seduce the husband (Monte Blue) of her best friend (Florence Vidor). Her husband wants a divorce so gets a detective to follow her, whilst she tries to deflect the friends attention by directing her to another woman (Esther Ralston). Meanwhile the best friend attracts the attention of her husbands busniess partner (Creighton Hale). This is essentially a comedy of erors and misunderstandings that are staoked by the anticts of Marie Prevost's character. The acting honours got to Marie Prevost as the slightly vampish scheming woman, whilst Florence Vidor portrays a more calm elegance. Ernst Lubitsch remake this as the musical One Hour With You in 1932.
