An American reporter goes to France to investigate a strange asylum deep in the forest. This is a very strange Mexican horror / fantasy that is both bad and at the same time disturbing. It is essentially an extreme version of the inmates taking over the asylum, but this is no One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. The plot is largely irrelevant and more a collection of weird random scenes, not least the man who thinks he is a chicken. The film is loosely based on a story by Edgar Allan Poe.
