Film version of the Robert Bolt's play, of Sir Thomas Moore's relationship with Henry VIII and the politics surrounding Henry's desire for a divorce. This is faithful to the play and Charlton Heston gives a stage syle performance that is still good on screen and Roy Kinnear gives a gem of a performance in one of his last films.
