The story of the life of Willian Freise-Greene who was one of Britain's pioneers of the early movie camera. The film is light on the technical side of his work, but is notable for a series of cameo roles from well known British actors of the time. This is a film that was made for The Festival Of Britain. The film wa made to promote Britain as the start of cinema.
