A farmer struggling to support his wife (Katherine Heigl) and family (including January Jones). He has an accident with his axe and scuts his leg. A passing stranger (Logan Batholomew) comes to the rescue and saves his life. He is invited to help on the farm and he and a railway surveyor both try to court January Jones, but it turns out that the stranger is actually a local boy with a past. One of a series of made for TV movies that suffers from a a lack of passion in the direction and the acting.
