A group of soldiers and scientists are sent to a remote island to recover a crashed atomic rocket only to find prehistoric animals. This is a weak variation on the lost world theme, with parts quite slow as they climb up the mountain and others very wordy. Unusually the scenes on the top of the mountain in the prehistoric world are filmed in green tint.
