A door to door salesman who sells things on credit to housewives who cannot afford it as well as sleeping with some of them. He does all this oblivious to the impact it has people's lives some of which are catastrophic. Ian Hendry is good in the lead despite the unpleasantness of his character. It is also aninteresting insight into the easy credit and its consequences of the 1960's.
