An elderly lady rents a room to a polite gentleman (Tom Hanks) who invites his friends round to practice music, whilst in reality they are using the cellar to dig a tunnel to rob a casino. Remake of the 1950's Ealing comedy set in southern America rather than England, but without the same charm and humour of the original. Whilst Tom Hanks is a good actor the comparison shows how very good Alex Guinness and Peter Sellers were when at their best.
