A woman thinks that her husband is having an affair with another woman only it is his mother. This is avery good version of the Oscar Wilde paly which is surprising given that it is a silent film and the play is known for its witty lines. Ernst Lubitsch gets good performances from his leading actors that conveys much of the character of play by their acting.
