A man (Joey Lawrence) who has just broken up with his girlfriend promises his grandmother she will meet his wife before she dies. So he goes on line to find a girl who can pretend to be his grilfriend. Meanwhile a woman (Emily Hampshire) who is trying to avoid being set up by her mother with a man she does not like goes on line to find a man to pretend to be her boyfriend. Initially they get on well but problems arise as he is Christian and she is Jewish. This is a variation on the relationship across cultures theme .
