A teenage girl (Saoirse Ronan) has been brought up by her father (Eric Bana) in the remote artic woods without exposure to the modern world to be an assassin. She was part of a program that genetically enginereed people to be killers but the program was shut down and all the babies killed except Saoirse Ronan. She is sent out on a journey across Europe to kill the woman (Cate Blanchett) who killed her mother and stopped the program and men from her organisation are on her trail to stop and kill her. This film has a good premise and a good performance from Saoirse Ronan who is both innocent teenager and ruthless killer.The problem is that the film looses it way in the middle as she travels across Europe with a family in a camper van and it does not really explore the implications of Ronan's situation, upbringing or character.
