A doctor covers for another doctor when a patient dies during an operation and is forced to resign. After meeting the woman's daughter he he moves to a rural research station. The script and the pacing is quite uneven, but the film is notable for the performance of Errol Flynn in a dramatic role in contrast to his usual swashbucking roles. This is part medical, part philosophical and part romance. Whilst not a great film, the plot starts from a good idea and it shows a different side to Errol Flynn.
