Comment/Synopsis

A poor duchess in Paris having fled a revolution is romanced by a wealthy man pretending to be her hotel waiter. Adolphe Menjou is good as the inept waiter romancing the duchess. There are a number of comic moments from this which help the storyline and do not detract from it. Florence VIf=dor is quite flat in her performance but there is good support from Dot Farley as the constantly outraged relative of the DUchess.
