A troubled teenager (Camille Cregan) is taken in by the family of her friend who is dying of an illness. When the friend dies and then her younger sister gets sick with the same inllness she suspects that the mother (Helen Slater) is actually poisoning her daughters. This film has a lacklustre feel to it. Helen Slater is OK as the woman with mental health problems killing her children and Camille Cregan as the troubled teenager.
