The Girl From Rio

Comment/Synopsis
A man arrives in Rio with a large sum of money in briefcase and is hunted by aman and his gang of thugs and a woman and her army that has set up an all female city from which to take over the world. This is a curious mix of spy film meets Barbarella. There are scantily clad wome, prisoners in glass cages, a Rio carnival and a man in a bad check jacket. It also has the over long method of killing someone and in parts the film moves very slowly. Shirley Eaton and Maria Rohm did better work and George Sanders has little to work with. It is a sort of follow up to the earlier The Million Eyes of Sumuru.
