Comment/Synopsis
A Russian soldier is sent to Romania to discover the identity of a female spy passing secrets to their enemy. He has to decide which of three beautiful women is the spy. The script and dialogue are poor. Ivan Lebedeff is poor in the lead role which is not helped by his heavy accent. Genevieve Tobin and Betty Compson bring some elegance to the film but cannot rescue it. The film was a commercial and critical flop. The production supervisor left on the first day of shooting and was replaced by Pandro Berman with his first production credit.
