A gold digging woman has a mob leader in love with her, so she marries him for his money and not for love. However as one mob boss is killed she marries the next boss, but it is the accountant who is really looking out for her. This film is all about the performance Carole Lombard as her character develops through the film and she delivers a range of emotions. Zasu Pitts as ever gives a good supporting performance.
