Comment/Synopsis
An attorney (William Powell) who makes his living defending crooked people is in a relationship with a nightclub singer (Kay Francis), but she is also seeing another man. Late one night she is out driving with the other man when she accidentally kills a man. As the lies and cover-ups increase so do their relationships fall apart. William Powell gives a good performance as the lawyer having to defend his girl friends lover. Kay Francis is good as the woman who is in love but really wants a husband.
