A biographical film of the build up to Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 journey to moon and his first steps on the moon. The film focuses on two missions the Gemini 8 and Apollo 11 missions and indispersed with scenes from home life and training. This leaves the film very uneven with a few bursts of action and some drawn out scenes adding little.to the story. it ends up not really giving any real insight into the moon landing nor into the peronal and family life of Neil Armstrong. An example of the potential not being realised.
