The young sister (Millie Bobby Brown) of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) goes to London to investigate the disappearance of her mother (Helena Bonham Carter). The plot is weak and charactersof Sherlock and Mycroft (Sam Clafin) bear very little relationship to the original characters. This is more a girl in her late teens becoming a detective than anything to do with Holmes. The regular talking to the camera by the lead actress becomes distracting.
