Two English couples (including Francis Matthews and Barbara Shelly) are travelling in eastern Europe and end up spending the night at a castle in spite of the warnings from the locals. The castle belonged to Count Dracula and despite the pleasant welcome by the butler, the castle has a dark side. This was Hammer Film's second Dracula film and also Christopher Lee's second Dracula film. Despite the fact that he has dialogue it is still one of his and Hammer's better films, as it creates an atmosphere, despite not having the best dialogue.
