An academic (Richard Greene), the daughter (Patricia Medina) of the earl who lives in a stately house and a ghost (Richard Bird) help the villagers fight a wealthy landowner who is trying to stop them keeping animals on common land. This is a lightweight British comedy, that is entertaining, eventhough the plot is a little silly
