When larva flows start and volcanoes erupt across the pacific ring of fire, suspicion falls on a US military experiment to deep drill into the earth. In order to stop the problem a drilling machine is sent down to explode large bombs. This is a typical made for television sci-fi disaster film with th usual stereoptypes, rival male scientists both having relationship issues with one of the female scientists and the military with their agenda.
