Comment
This film charts the early days of the state of Oaklahoma from the point of view of one successful family. This is an early sound film that is notable for a couple of scenes that were ground breaking in sound at the time including the opening land grab rush and the ride down the main street. There is a good performance from Irene Dunne as the woman becoming successful in her own right. Richard Dix's performance is more silent style than sound.
