A woman (Ashley Williams) is trying to save her fathers shop, so goes to the big city with her daughter to get a job. She gets a job in the toy department of a large department store, but the consultant (Ashanti) brought in to make the store more profitable takes out all the good parts of Christmas. She starts to fall in love with the nephew (jon Prescott) of the owner but much to the consternation of the consultant. This is a typical made for television Christmas film with the usual sterotypes, though the performance of Ashley Williams makes it watchable.
