An architect (John Denver) and his daughter go to a small town in Colorado to do an undercover survey for a major development, but he finds a town where everyone believes in Father Christmas. He starts to fall for the lady who runs the post office (Jane Kaczmarek) but when it is revealed why he is there it strains their new relationship.
