A jounalist takes a bet he can stay in a hounted castle for one night when other who tried have not survived. Once there he meets the ghosts of the people who have died there before him but he meets a beautiful woman (Barbara Steele) who wants to help him survive. This is a good Italian made atmospheric gothic horror. Whoist the plot has many haunted house horror ideas, it is helped by a good performance from Barbara Steele.
