John Travolta steals two nuclear weapons from a plane he and Christian Slater are flying and then uses them to blackmail the US government. However as John Travolta moves the weapons accross Utah, Christian Slater, with the help of a female park ranger (Samantha Mathis), tries to stop him. John Travolta gives a cold, calculating performance as the thief and both Christian Slater and Samantha Mathis give strong performances as the mismatched couple. There is plenty of action and the film moves on with a good pace.
