Rene Zellweger is Bridget Jones and this is a love triangle between her and Colin Firth and Hugh Grant. Entertaining light love story of single life in London in the late 1990's based on the book by Helen Fielding. This is one of Rene Zellweger's best performances and she is ably supported by a good performance from Jim Broadbent as her father. The direction maintains the pace of the plot whilst allowing time for the humour of both the spoken and visual jokes. The sound track adds to the overall feel of the film.
