Doctor Frankenstein (Sting) creates a woman (Jennifer Beals) as a mate for his creation (Clancy Brown) but this leads to a fire and the creature escapes, meets up with a dwarf and they join the circus. Meanwhile, as she is a beautiful woman, Dr Frankenstein makes her into a lady and introduces her into society, but fate will bring the two created people back together. This is visually good as a period drama, though the plot is slightly uneven in places and Sting is not really convincing in his role.
