A doctor and his wife (Francelia Billington) are on holiday in the Dolomite mountains as their marriage is on the rocks. Whilst her husband ignores her an army officer takes an interest in her and tries to seduce her. The plot is a typical love triangle, with the best performances coming from Erich von Stroheim as the slightly creepy offcier with predatory designs on the wife and Francelia Billington as thww wife who is torn between her love for her husband who ignores her and the attraction of a man who pays her lots of attention.
