Comment
A man steals an unbrella then gives it to a woman to help her cross a flooded street and then another man arrives to helps her. There then follows fights for the umbrella and the woman. This is not a particularly good film, but as Chaplin's fourth film it does mark the arrival of his little tramp character in a form that was to stay with him.
