An actress (Lora Baxter) who is about to give up up acting to get married to her boyfriend. However her former lover arrives and after she tells him she is going to marry someone else as he is already marrried, he then dies. Her friends take the body to a private hospital and then the doctor (Leo Carrillo) arrives, says he was murdered and proceeds to try and blackmail her. The film is based on a stage play and it is filmed like a play, so it is very static. The direction is also very slow with lots of pauses in the dialogue. Despite a flat performance from the actors the plot has some twists that make it interesting.
