Soldiers from a barracks start being killed by some form of beast and it soon becomes apparaent that two elderly ladies living nearby know who or what the beast is and how it is connected to their cellar.There is no great suspense, and very little gore, though there are easonabe performances from Beryl Reid and Flora Robson.
