Ethan Hawke is in charge of police station that is due to close that night when notable villan laurence Fishburn is brought in to be held overnight. However he has been in league with a corrupt policeman and a group lay seige to the police station. Whilst this may not be as good as the original version, Ethan Hawke and Laurence Fishburn give good performances as the two main protagonists. They are well supported by Brian Dennehy as the about to retire cop and Maria Bello as the psychologist caught up in the action.
