Mickey Rourke is a private detective in the 1950's hired by Robert DeNiro to find a man he has debts with. Alan Parker has created a film evocative of the period that although moves slowly in parts, does develop the plot well, as a series of murders start to challenge the thinking of Mickey Rourke's character.
