Maria Rohm is sent to an island prison where she becomes number 99. The prison is run by Mercedes McCambridge and Herbert Lom who abuse the women physically and sexually. After the death of three inmates Maria Schell is sent to take over running the prison. This film is a strange mix of prison drama and soft porn with lesbian overtones added for good measure. This is not well filmed and the dialogue suffers from being a bad mix of different languages and dubbing.
